I found this a most interesting chart at ICECAP, which plots the monthly Hadley land and ocean and UAH MSU lower tropospheric temperatures, with CO2 over the past decade. As you can see the temperature correlation with CO2 has vanished.
The whole justification for California's greenhouse gas reductions initiative is the correlation between the surface temperature and the increase in greenhouse gases, mainly CO2. But, as you can see this correlation is no longer visually or statistically valid. Why then does the Governor and the Legislature continue to craft these economy destroying greenhouse gas regulations. California economy is tanking and these fools in Sacramento are trying to solve a non existing problem that is going to make our future economy worse. Why? What do you think?
