Anthony Watts reports that he and his volunteers have surveyed 70 percent of the surface stations at Watts Up With That.
The whole graphic has a red blush, which should be an embarrassment to the National Weather Service. Look at how many stations no longer meet the government standard for valid data collection. Anthony is writing a paper for submission to a peer reviewed journal. Stay Tuned.
Ellen and I have surveyed stations in California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dokota, Deleware and Maryland. This summer we are planning a trip to survey more stations in Oregon, Washington and Idaho.
