Today, Friday the 17th of April, the Environmental Protection Agency formally declared carbon dioxide and five other heat-trapping gases (methane, nitrous oxide, hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons, and sulfur hexafluoride) to be pollutants that threaten the public health and welfare and are the primary cause of global warming.
The ruling triggers a 60-day comment period before any proposed regulations governing emissions of greenhouse gases are published. The public is encouraged to comment on the proposed findings by using the Regulations Portal or by e-mail at: [email protected]
However, there are rules and procedures that should be followed to insure your comments are considered. These rules can be downloaded here.
The Technical Supporting Documents can be down loaded here . Please note this chart on page 34 of the technical report which is dated April 2009.
Why do you suppose the data on this chart is truncated to 2001 in a 2009 report? Could it be to mislead the reader and government officials? Do you think the EPA would do that? There has been no significant warming for the last ten years and a decline in warming for the last three years. What is the EPA trying to hide?
