House Democratic leaders plan to bring the Waxman-Markey energy-rationing bill, H. R. 2454, the American Clean Energy and Security Act to the House floor for a vote on Friday. This legislation will be the most costly tax increases in our history. We will soon be rationing our energy, making decisions about how we live based on how may energy credits we have left for the month. "Sorry Jimmy, we will not be visiting Grandma this summer, we do not has enough carbon credits, maybe next summer."
Given that China and India have made strong statements they will not damage their economies and impoverish their peoples with similar cap and trade program we are committing global economic suicide.
However, many Legislators voting for this economic suicide note may not be reading this note be for they vote on it, according to the Sunlight Foundation. The Foundation reports these is some behind the closed doors maneuvering going on.
