On our most recent trip to Washington I was in Cabela’s in Lacy and admired some Carhart pants. I bought one pair and decided that they were comfortable enough to buy some more. So, we paid a visit to the local Carhart outlet, Fleatherlite Trailers on SR-49.
They did not stock the pants that I wanted, but the clerk offered to order them, and to save on shipping have the pants come in their next shipment, which was 12 days away. Twelve days went by, then thirteen and fourteen and no pants. I called today and they said would be another week to ten days before the next shipment. Opps, looks like some one screwed up my order.
Folks, I went on the Internet and ordered those pants in ten minutes from home and they will be here in 3-6 days. I could have the pants here tomorrow, if I wanted to pay for overnight shipping. And, people want to know why we do not shop locally more often. Well, here is one good example.
