Some experts have suggested that California’s fuel prices have peaked, but other are not so sure because three of Japan’s most important refineries are still shut down following the earthquake and tsunami, complicated by a nuclear plant meltdown. Prices may continue to rise as the world market scrambles to replace the lost capacity to produce gasoline, diesel and heating oil.
Below is the latest fuel prices in Nevada County, which still shows increasing prices, though US diesel seem to have leveled some.

Update (03-20-11, 13:10) In a quest to make the charts more readable and provied more information, I have move the data file so it is compatible with R a statistical programing language.
