I wonder if the County Supervisors are beginning to wish they had never heard of Greg Diaz, let alone supported his reelection campaign.
Agenda item 21 on the BOS Agenda: County Counsel requests an additional $100,000 for legal fees. This brings the total to $350,000. The Board meets in closed session immediately preceding this agenda item. County Counsel Michael Jamison wrote: that the increase is necessary “to pay for pending invoices for services rendered.” i.e. this is expense already incurred.
It was just 5 weeks ago, on January 25th, that the Supervisors approved $100,000 to bring the previous total to $250,000.
Exit questions: When do the Supervisors decide cut their losses and stop the bleeding?
