Our local left takes every opportunity to cast the Tea Party Patriots as ineffective and on the way out the door of history.  Yet, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid points to the House Members supported by the Tea Party as a cohesive group who are thwarting his legislative desires. Senator Chuck Schumer  is following his instructions from the Democratic Caucus to refer to Tea Party members as "extremists”.  The liberal press keeps pointing to the House and Senate members, who were supported by the Tea Party in the last November election, as a separate political force in Washington.

If the Tea Party is history, what is all the clamoring about in Washington?  Why are Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer so worried about the Tea Party?  Why is CNN trying to degrade the Tea Party with faux polls, if they are no longer politically important? Why does Fox News keep asking House and Senate Members supported by the Tea Party what is next? Why are Tea Party Patriot leaders being invited to be guests on Cable News shows?  Why are “Democratic Party leaders capitulating to the Tea Party and its demands,” a local lefty wants to know?

Exit Question:  Are the Tea Party Patriots becoming just a historical footnote as our local left whats them to be?
