The KQED Climate Watch has an interesting post on the House Committee on Science, Space & Technology hearing on global warming, or climate change if you prefer, through a progressive lens in a article titled On the Capitol Hill Climate Hotseat. Most of the panel participants, except for one, promoted an anti-regulatory agenda for Congress.
I found this interesting quote in the the story written by Craig Miller.
By far, my favorite quote came from northern California Democrat Lynn Woolsey (who supports the IPCC findings). Woolsey arrived at the hearing fresh from a climate briefing for the Democratic Caucus and after listening to the panel, said, "I feel like I'm living in a parallel universe. It's got my head going boing, boing, boing…"
What was the Democratic Caucus promoting? Most of the panelist gave a realistic data driven view of climate change, and this seem to conflict with what California Democrat Lynn Woolsey was told in his Democratic Caucus. Are they really living in a parallel universe, or are they just being political correct, in parallel with the Obama Administration and is EPA?
