Mike Huckabee is a nice guy who can be very engaging, but he was not the candidate we need to beat Obama. He is a populist, not a mainstream conservative. His economics seem to be weak and he comes across more like a pro-choice Democrat in a Republican suit than a true conservative. I am delighted that Huckabee has decided not to run in 2012, as his decision now opens the field for a stronger candidate to emerge. Who, I have no idea. We have a long way to go before a decision is necessary, and none of the professed seeker are up to the challenge in my opinion. And, we are not careful we will end up with another John McCain by another name. I am looking for a game changer, not a game player.
