When the wind stops blowing and the sun is not shining and the coal power plant are gone and cannot take up the slack, there will be black outs and brown outs. In some cases all those people with smart meters in their AC and Furnace Units will get a warnimg as PG&E shuts of their AC's power. As the AC shuts down it will be head up to start the generator to protect their power sensative electronic equipment from the brown which is sure to follow.
